8th International Bacterial Wilt Symposium (8th IBWS2026)

The 8th International Bacterial Wilt Symposium (IBWS2026) will take place on 22–26 March 2026 in Wageningen, bringing together researchers and stakeholders working on bacterial wilt and related plant health challenges.
The programme will cover key topics including the diversity and genomics of the Ralstonia solanacearum species complex, molecular plant–microbe interactions, ecology and epidemiology, host resistance and crop improvement, and disease control, prevention, and diagnostics—alongside a broader special session. The week includes a welcome reception, scientific sessions, an excursion, and a conference dinner, with the final programme to be announced.
