VIII International Symposium on Plant Physiology and Biostimulation

The VIII International Symposium on Plant Physiology and Biostimulation will take place from 23 to 25 September 2026 at Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) in Quito, Ecuador. Organised by USFQ’s College of Sciences and Engineering and the Agroenterprise Engineering programme, the event will bring together national and international experts, researchers, students and professionals from the agricultural sector.

The programme will feature keynote lectures and technical presentations on plant nutrition, stress responses, plant–microorganism interactions, agronomic management and new agricultural technologies, with particular attention to the use of biostimulants to improve crop productivity, sustainability and quality. The symposium will also provide opportunities to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaboration between academia, research and the productive sector.
