Funditec is a private non-profit foundation recognized as a Technology Center in Madrid. It focuses on applied research in Advanced Materials, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Blockchain, driving innovation and business competitiveness.
Funditec will develop biocontrol coating solutions with antimicrobial activity using enzymes and bacterial antagonists as an alternative to chemical pesticides for potato and tomato crops. Funditec will lead AI-based models for disease detection and climate-driven risk assessment and manage project dissemination.
